Peggy Smith Bush joined CABANISS, SMITH, TOOLE & WIGGINS, PL as an associate in 2002. Focusing her practice on the defense of theme parks and manufacturers, Peggy has defended her clients in litigation involving allegations of toxic torts, food liability, product defects, premises liability, property damage and wrongful death. She received her B.S. from the University of North Alabama in 1984, majoring in Marketing. After graduation, she worked in television and radio. In 1992, Ms. Bush received her Series 7 and Series 63 Securities Licenses. Ms. Bush worked with top producers at Prudential Securities and Robinson-Humphrey-Smith Barney in the sale of stocks, bonds and mutual funds. Ms. Bush received her law degree from Barry University School of Law, where Ms. Bush served as Managing Editor of the Law Review. She distinguished herself academically, winning "Book Awards" and graduating in the top ten percent of her class. Ms. Bush also excelled in oral advocacy, winning the Outstanding Oral Advocacy Award, being appointed to the Moot Court Team. During law school, Ms. Bush interned for the General Counsel of Planet Hollywood, Inc.; an Orlando real estate and telecommunications firm; and a plaintiff's personal injury and medical malpractice firm.
