In June 2009, The Central Florida Gay and Lesbian Law Association, a regional voluntary bar association of The Florida Bar, elected Larry D. Smith as President, and Peggy Smith Bush as Creative Director for 2009-2010. Founded in 2004, Central Florida GALLA is the only bar association in the state dedicated to the interests of GLBT legal professionals.
